Check Valves

Check Valves

Check Valves, which could be known as Double or Single Lock Valves, are designed to lock a cylinder or part of a circuit while a directional control valve is in the neutral position.

Designed for applications where directional control valve leakage could adversely affect the performance of the system.

When should a check valve be replaced?

Look for signs of corrosion, rust or mineral build-up. Replace the valve if there are extensive leaks or worn/broken pieces. Open & close the valves to make sure they aren't seizing. Inspect pressure & temperature of fluid flowing through.

Check valves are not maintenance-free and require periodic inspection and cleaning. Recommended inspection is a minimum of twice per year.
